Kostas releases new solo album, ‘Tor’

Some news which might be of interest to Pantheïst fans - Kostas from the band has recently released a new solo album called ‘Tor’. This continues the trend towards a more distinctive and individual sound in his solo work, further developing the instrumental classical ambient approach of earlier albums.

The concept behind the work was conceived after visits to Glastonbury in Somerset and mystical journeys from the town towards the Tor. The spiritual energy of the site evoked feelings of a transformative journey rather than a physical one, and these feelings were subsequently translated into sound.

Deha has done an excellent job with the production and mastering. If you like the more contemplative moments of Kostas’s work with Pantheïst and Ereipia, you may well appreciate this. The album contains some bold experimentalism here and there, but overall you will encounter the familiar kinds of melodies and arrangements you should expect from Kostas.

It’s available to listen to on all major streaming services. If you want to support Kostas financially, he has created a limited edition (200) of beautiful digipak CDs which include a signed A5 card with personalised wisdom straight from the Chalice Wells in Glastonbury - available to buy from Bandcamp.

Website issues…

Hi everyone, we apologise for the issues with our website as of late. It crashed at the beginning of 2023 (which is a pretty doomy new year’s omen) and we have been unable to revert it back to how it was, so are in the process of getting the site back up to date again, which we will do over the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience.
